DeNooyer Chevrolet Adds Digital Alignment Tool

COLONIE - Joel DeNooyer, owner of DeNooyer Chevrolet, likes to keep up with the technology available in the auto industry, which is why customers can now drive into the dealership into a specific area for a free digital alignment scan that detects whether an alignment is needed and takes images of a vehicles tires, all without the customer even leaving the vehicle.

The technology, called FlightboardTM Guide, is only available in New York State at DeNooyer Chevrolet and is among only 100 currently in use in the country. It can detect alignment issues before they impact tire life and driving quality or simply verify that a vehicle is in fact in alignment, potentially saving customers money down the road while at the same time providing transparency for service recommendations.

“When we learned about this digital alignment tool we decided to invest in it for the dealership to add value for our customers as a proactive free service that is also educational,” said DeNooyer. “It’s amazing to see all of a vehicles wheel alignment diagnostics right on the screen after a customer simply drives past the special equipment on their way in.”

The on-screen results show the vehicle inspection information in real-time including wheel alignment results for axle angles and whether they are within manufacturer specifications and tire health results with 3D images of customer tires that show tire tread depth and edge wear.
